Principles:  Principles Are More Powerful Than People 

I always felt uneasy if I wasn't the one to make the decision.  That was before I learned that we lacked a set of guiding principles for the Company that would help us all have a more consistent filter.  It wasn't just about making decisions but it was about how we acted toward each other, who we hired, how we treated customers, how we approached our shareholders and how we tested ourselves.   In other words, it was about making Principles actionable.   Establishing Principles is the reflection of your business leadership, organized in a framework that your Company can respond to.  And when Principles are embraced, everyone begins speaking the same language inside the Company which dramatically reduces conflict and accelerates action!
